AWA Export Control Conference
Your update on export control law
At the beginning of each year, the AWA regularly informs you in Frankfurt and online about the most important innovations in German, European and U.S. export control law. The Export Control Conference consists of three consecutive days, which can also be booked individually. The three update training sessions will take place as a hybrid event, i.e. you can either attend on site in Frankfurt a.M. or follow one or more of the three update training sessions online in parallel.

This update training course is aimed at interested persons with a good knowledge of EU/U.S. export controls and sanctions law.
What you will know after attending the update training course
Our team of U.S. experts will explain how to assess the current U.S. export control policies and regulations and their impact on your business. The focus will be on current (and future) export controls for military equipment.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to visit the booths of the exhibitors and sponsors of the Export Control Conference to learn about their products and services.

What you will know after attending the update training course
German and European companies that trade with the USA inevitably come into contact with US export control law. You will learn from U.S. legal experts how to assess the current U.S. export control policy and what conclusions you can draw from it for your trade transactions.
In addition, you will be able to assess whether there is a need for action with regard to your exports, re-exports or other transactions. Thanks to the update, you can also better assess the development of sanctions.
